There is an incredible bounty of produce grown in New Jersey, and the Garden State produces nutritious and flavor-packed veggies & herbs, and naturally sweet & juicy fruits and berries!  As a farmers market baker for over five years, chef instructor Jenny Belliveau featured the latest in-season produce in her pastries from the most local sources she could find: the farmers at her markets. 


In this class you’ll learn how to choose the optimal fruits and vegetables for baking and know when they’re at their peak flavor and freshness. Then, we get to play with our food in the kitchen, crafting sweet and savory baked treats around our star ingredients: Strawberry Rhubarb GalettesBlueberry Lemon Cake and  Quiche with Goat Cheese, Aromatics & Fresh Herbs. You'll come away from this class inspired to tour your local market, full of ideas for your next baking adventure.
