CANCELLATION and refunds & other Policies
For Cooking Classes: We have limited seats available for each class, so we do maintain a strict cancellation policy.
If you can not attend the class, please notify as via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our refund breakdown and policy :
14 days or more days notification before class date: 100% deposit refund or credit.
13 days to 1 day before the class , you’ll be given a credit for a future class. Credit classes must be taken within 90 days of the cancellation.
On the day of the class, if you, and/or your party can not attend the class for whatever reason, you are more than welcome to send someone in your place. We do not give refunds or credit to: same day class cancel notification, or no shows.
Registration of 6 or more individuals for any cooking class makes it a Private Event. Check our Private Events here.
For Private and Corporate Events: Please note, private parties and corporate events require a deposit when the reservation is made to secure the space and chef instructor availability. We have a strict cancellation policy - as a small business, our lifeblood is selling limited available slots for an event. Policies will be included in the contract you sign.
Little Fox Kitchen reserves the right to cancel or change a class for any reason. Students will be contacted prior to the class start date and either issued a full refund, or given a credit toward another class.
Q: i do not know how to cook. Will I still be able to enjoy a cooking class ?
A: Absolutely! Our classes are designed to be accessible to novices, enthusiasts, and those with no cooking experience at all. Our chef-instructors guide students at every step, making cooking enjoyable, regardless of skill level.
Q: can i bring my kid(s) to class with me?
A: Most classes, unless otherwise specified, are designed for adults. Some classes allow teens to enroll and specify the age (14-18 years old) i.e. KNIFE SKILLS class . We will occasionally offer parent/child cooking classes (see the calendar ). In the summer, we offer culinary camps for children and teens.
Q: Can I bring (drinking) alcohol to the class?
A: You are more than welcome to bring your own wine or beer (no hard liquor or spirits, please) to class. In our regular cooking classes, any alcohol will be opened at the end, while we enjoy our meal.
Q: What do I need to bring to my cooking class?
A: Your curiosity, your talent, your innovation and your appetite! We provide aprons, recipes, pens and takeout containers (if your class doesn’t gobble up all the goodies!)
Q: What should I wear to my cooking class?
A: You will be working with hot liquids and sharp tools during your class, so bear that in mind when selecting your clothing. Wear close-toed shoes for your safety. Above all, plan for comfort as you will be doing a lot of standing.
Q: Do you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions ?
A: It is understood that you have reviewed the class offerings and are aware of the dishes involved. Dishes are cooked and served family style to be shared as a group - we can not unfortunately make changes to the menu . We do try our best to accommodate only if we can eliminate it in individual portions . We do not do substitutions .
Q: I want to bring several friends (or people from my office), do you have private event options?
A: Yes! Check out our Cooking Parties & Corporate Events tab for details.
Q: I have a friend/family member who would just love to take a class here! Can I buy a gift certificate to Little Fox Kitchen for him/her?
A: We’d love to have your friend/family member join us! Visit our Gift Certificates tab for details.
